Chief Master Sergeant David J. “Chief” Martin, USAF (Ret) is the Owner of Too Stupid To Fail, a personal and professional strategizing company which specializes in individual and organizational assessment, process improvement, personal care, and robust long-term follow-up. He retired from the Air Force after nearly 30 years of service. Dave is a seasoned leader and coach who supports his clients to create effective, fulfilling careers and lives. As a co-founder of the Centurion Leadership Group Dave brings 30 years of experience as a pastor, leader, mentor, and coach. He is incredibly adept at helping clients access their knowledge and creativity in order to unlock radical transformation in themselves and their team members. This has been proven in multi-million-dollar companies as well as in family units and individuals.

Prior to owning his own business and pastoring a church, Chief served his country for nearly 30 years in the United States and ascended to the highest enlisted grade of Chief Master Sergeant. His tenure allowed him to serve at every organizational level in the United States Air Force, from the third rifleman on a Security Force Support Element Combat Patrol to the United States Air Forces Europe and Africa Command Functional Manager overseeing the Air Force Safety mission in the European and African theater of operation affecting over 150,000 souls.

Dave has extensive program management and organizational skills which were developed in the Air Force. He possesses strong public speaking and conflict resolution skills. He is highly adaptable, creative, and innovative individual with an abundance of experience developed on a foundation of integrity, service, and excellence. He is fueled by a love of helping people by teaching them how to remove artificial barriers and eliminate negative internal dialogue so they can develop fail-proof ways to succeed in every aspect of their lives. Dave holds a MA in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg VA. He is a nationally Certified Master Life Coach through Transformation Academy. He is a Licensed Minister of the Gospel and an Ordained Pastor.

Dave and his wife of 32 years, Dal, live in Winston-Salem. They are Care Pastors at Awake Church. Dave is the Pastor over Guest Services and Dal is the Pastor over Hospitality. They both actively support Hydrating Humanity which is a non-profit which has provided over 925 wells in Africa which provides clean drinking water for tens of thousands of children and their families every day.
